William J. Moorhead, DMD has developed and teaches systems and strategies for overcoming the challenging issues most practices face with absenteeism, turnover, lack of quick and adequate training, and high overhead. Always looking for new and powerful solutions, Dr. Moorhead not only solves complex management issues in his practice but also shares them with other dentists and their teams through his speaking and consulting programs.

Sometimes affectionately referred to as “Dr. Checklist,” Dr. Moorhead speaks across the United States on topics related to systems management, clinical efficiency, medical emergencies, and treating anxious patients.

Dr. Moorhead practices full time in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and is co-founder of IV Sedation Training for Dentists LLC, a 90-hour course designed to teach general dentists moderate sedation. He is also the founder and owner of StreamDent® software, which provides dental offices with customizable checklists to decrease errors and quickly train new team members.

Dr. Moorhead has served as President of his component dental society and is a Past President of the Kentucky Dental Association.
