Dr. Kole James, a dedicated dental professional and community advocate. In 1999, he earned his BS Degree from the University of Michigan, followed by postgraduate studies at Wayne State University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Driven by a commitment to quality dental care, Dr. Kole-James opened a private practice in Detroit in 2006. Despite facing adversity when a fire destroyed his office, his determination to provide excellent care only intensified. Transitioning to public health, he became the Dental Director for three clinics at Detroit Community Health Connection, ensuring adherence to national standards and administrative policies.

During 2011-2013, he served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, sharing his knowledge. Recognizing a need for orthodontic care in the Detroit Metropolitan Area, Dr. Kole-James pursued and obtained his Orthodontics Degree from Howard University in 2016.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Kole-James is happily married to Uchenna for 10 years, and together they are parents to Samuel and Emmanuel. In his leisure, he enjoys family time, sports, and delivering exceptional patient care in his private orthodontic practice, armed with his expertise in orthodontics.

Before opening Superior Orthodontics, Dr. Kole-James served as Dental Director for three community health clinics in Detroit, where his focus was on making quality dental care accessible to the community. That same commitment to affordable, accessible care drives how he runs Superior Orthodontics today.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Kole-James enjoys spending time with his wife Uchenna and their two sons, Samuel and Emmanuel.
