Rohan Oza
American businessman, investor, and television personality
Rohan Oza is an American businessman, investor, and television personality, widely recognized as a powerhouse in the consumer packaged goods industry and the “Hollywood Brand Father.” Born in Zambia and educated at Nottingham University and the University of Michigan, Oza began his career in marketing at major corporations like Mars and The Coca-Cola Company, where he famously revitalized the Sprite brand by aligning it with hip-hop culture. He then transitioned to Vitaminwater as a partner and Chief Marketing Officer, pioneering the strategy of using celebrity equity-stake partnerships—most notably with 50 Cent—which led to the brand’s historic $4.1 billion acquisition by Coca-Cola. Following this success, he co-founded CAVU Venture Partners, a firm that invests in and scales iconic, better-for-you consumer brands such as Bai, Popchips, and Vita Coco. Oza gained further celebrity prominence as a recurring “Guest Shark” on ABC’s reality television series Shark Tank, where he uses his brand-building expertise to invest in and mentor emerging entrepreneurs.
